COURSE DURATION AND CERTIFICATION
The duration of the programme is 2 years, and runs both day (non-boarding) and boarding; there are three vacations during the course of the year. INVTC has adopted the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) examination structure and certification. Students are certified as follows:
- Proficiency I & II involving 2 years practical training with oral examination for both literates and non-literates.
- Certificate I & Certificate II for JHS and SHS candidates – involving Proficiency, Trade Testing and Written Examinations in Core Subjects – English Language, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship and Integrated Science.
- The Institute conducts examinations in Trade Tests / Proficiency Tests
All students participate in the Centre’s end of term examinations and are also entitled to receive a Certificate awarded by the centre at the end of their courses.
